E-verify requirement to go into effect on September 8

After September 8, 2009, Executive Order 13465, amending Executive Order 12989 states as a condition of each federal contract that you must agree to use the E-Verify system to verify the employment of "all new employees" hired during the federal contract term who perform employment duties on your federal contract within the United States; and all current employees "assigned to perform work" within the United States on your federal contract hired after November 6th, 1986.
